Methodology
- Shipped: generally available, confirmed on a vendor page or by trade press.
- Beta: limited release, pilot, or phased rollout.
- Hype: claimed or roadmap only, or no primary source.
- Every entry lists an evidence URL and the date it was checked. Vendor claims are marked as such.
- Tech-first checklist: five questions a technician cares about: fault-code analysis, guided troubleshooting/next checks, auto-pulled repair history, predictive alerts, and whether the tech keeps the final call. Yes only if a cited source says so. No if the source shows the tool lacks it. Unknown if public sources don't say. N/a for non-maintenance tools. No vendor in our sources explicitly promises the tech keeps the final call, so that column is Unknown until one does.
- Public sources only. No insider info.
- Sponsorship and affiliate links are always labeled and never change a status or ranking.
